1 year ago • 5 notesWatching Auntie Mame on my brand new miniature flat screen color TV, brought to you by the fine folks at Pickett Furniture. The set up isn’t quite complete here yet, I may paint it in a shiny black or gunmetal gray. It was custom built to fit an iPhone or iPod touch (if you use a touch, it doesn’t have sound) - the device slides in/out and fits snugly, and no unsightly cords. Super sleek and I absolutely love it, it’s amazing to have moving pictures in miniature in the dollhouse - especially since I chose not to electrify the house. As far as I know, there is only one in the world like it, too! We will be screening Edward Scissorhands tonight at eight if you want to drop by.

It is constructed of American Black Walnut with a hand rubbed oil and poly finish, and dovetailed drawer boxes. What I really love about this design is how the piece sits, with the sides angled at the bottoms and the sleek apron it rests on in the front. I will take two for my future dream bedroom, please (I wish!).
